Pass the Peas, Please!

There comes a time in a man's life when he needs to start eating solid foods. For some, it's as early as 4 months. For others, it's as late as seven months. For Wyatt, it was 5 1/2 months.

After much deliberation it was decided that Wyatt was ready to make the jump to big people food. At mealtime, he was becoming more and more interested in what mom and dad were eating. While he still won't get to eat off our plates, he is ready to be introduced to the world of food. On Saturday May 22nd, 2010, Wyatt met peas. The foundation of any nutritious meal, peas brought him lots of vitamins, minerals, and protein. Peas also brought him a sour look on his face! Enjoy!

  1. Mmmm...mmmmmm...good?! Oh, Wyatt, you had to get a nutritionist for a daddy. All kidding aside, looks like you did just great with your new feeding endeavour. More yummy veggies and you'll be growing by leaps and bounds. Watching your videos is just the best thing ever!! Love, Granpa and Grandma E.

  2. Hey Gretchen! Super cute post. It's so fun feeding your baby solid food. Now that you started there is no going back. Just wait until it gets all over you instead of in his mouth. Your little guy is so cute.

  4. Soooo cute. But peas, really? Wouldn't some yummy fruit been a much better experience? LOL It must be all those times that Aunty Gail made you eat all your peas at dinner now you get to pass on the fun.
