When Daddy's at School

After 4 wonderful weeks at home as a new family, Andy had to go back to school. Since I am on maternity leave until March, that leaves me and
Wyatt to hang out together at home while Andy goes to school! Wyatt and I had so much fun this week together and did lots of different things. Most importantly, we got to sleep in each day! Andy was gone all day Monday and the weather was not too good,
so we stayed inside all day. Wyatt was such a good boy, he slept a lot and that let me do some laundry and take down all of the Christmas decorations! This semester Andy has Tuesdays off, so we went out and ran some errands. We went to the Nike employee store and Wyatt got a new beanie and a warm pair of soft booties. We also went to Old Navy to see what was on sale and we found Wyatt 3 onesies and a fleece hoodie! On Wednesday Wyatt and I played at home! Wyatt is lucky enough to have a friend named Mason who let him borrow his swing. Wyatt loves to sleep there, listen to the music and watch the animals go round! Wyatt also found some time to hang out on his new jungle play mat and get in a little tummy time! On Thursday the weather finally dried out and Wyatt and I got to go for a walk! It was very cold and we both bundled up to stay warm in the wind but we had lots of fun! Grandma and Grandpa Cook even came over in the evening to visit! On Friday we went to the Adidas employee store and Wyatt got to see his Auntie Erin for the first time in more than 2 weeks! She even introduced him to some of her co-workers, even though he slept the whole time:) Phew...what a week! Here are a few pictures of Wyatt enjoying some of the activities from the week!

  2. Wyatt, don't grow up too fast. Looks like you're doing a good job of that! But we are on our way in just a few days, so stay as sweet as you look until we meet. Grandpa says it sure looks as though you have good strong Norwegian hands like your Great-grandpa Erlandsen did and that's something to be proud of! See you soon little guy. Love, Grandma and Grandpa E.
