First Hair Cut

It only took 27 months but we finally did it; we got Wyatt's hair cut! It wasn't as painful as we thought it would be and we LOVE it! We went to a local salon that is designed to cut kids hair. They were wonderful there! Wyatt sat in a fire truck and even got to watch Monsters Inc. while he got his hair cut. He was scared stiff at first; he didn't move almost the entire time! We gave him a special cookie to keep him distracted and he clutched that thing for the entire cut and then ate it as soon as the cut was over! Funny kid! He looks so handsome (although we might be biased) and like such a little boy now! Here are some before, during and after pictures that we took.

The River

A few weeks back we made plans to hang out with some good friends, the Colemans. We decided earlier in the week to do something outside to enjoy the Spring like weather, and make a trip to the Columbia river on the Vancouver, WA side. Little did we know that it was going to be WINDY that weekend. We decided to be troopers and head out anyway, packed up and dressed for the windy weather. We got to the park and hiked down to the water and to our surprise it was beautiful weather! We were protected from the wind and the sun was shining warm in the sky! The big boys fished and the little boys played in the sand and the Mama's relaxed in the sun! It was such a great afternoon!

Little Book Worm

Wyatt is truly a dream to the Mama who is a teacher! He loves his books! I hope that his love of listening to and reading books carries with him throughout life!

Wyatt Hits the Ice Rink

Andy decided that it was time for Wyatt to have his first experience on the ice! Wyatt had an absolute blast and can't wait to go back; he asks about the ice all the time! He has also taking quite the interest in hockey on TV! The boys went on a school day so taking pictures was a little hard, but here's one of Wyatt with his skates on waiting to hit the ice! I hope to join them next time and get some good ones of him on the ice!
