Pass the Peas, Please!

There comes a time in a man's life when he needs to start eating solid foods. For some, it's as early as 4 months. For others, it's as late as seven months. For Wyatt, it was 5 1/2 months.

After much deliberation it was decided that Wyatt was ready to make the jump to big people food. At mealtime, he was becoming more and more interested in what mom and dad were eating. While he still won't get to eat off our plates, he is ready to be introduced to the world of food. On Saturday May 22nd, 2010, Wyatt met peas. The foundation of any nutritious meal, peas brought him lots of vitamins, minerals, and protein. Peas also brought him a sour look on his face! Enjoy!

Sitting up!

About 3 weeks ago, Wyatt began sitting up and while he was quite wobbly, we have been practicing his new skills. Now, he can sit for longer periods, but we still use support so he doesn't fall and face plant on the ground. Here's a few shots of him sitting and playing, as well as a 60 second video (make sure the volume is up on your computer!). Enjoy!

Laughing Man!

Surprisingly, we discovered this past Monday that Wyatt has two bottom teeth popping in! Fortunately he has been his usual pleasant self...even spending his days giggling! Enjoy!
